  • Why Me?

I was sitting with a client recently who kept asking a question many of us have asked at some point in our lives:
“Why does what I want never seem to work out for me?”

He shared feelings overlooked for growth at work, frustrated with finances, and discouraged in his relationship. Despite being dependable, hardworking, and committed, he felt like he couldn’t catch a break — like no matter how much effort he put in, nothing was moving in his favor.

    This isn’t a rare conversation.
    Different people. Different stories.
But the same question always surfaces: Why me?

And truthfully, it’s a question I’ve asked myself before, too.

When life feels like it’s not aligning, it’s easy to assume we’re doing something wrong or that we’re being overlooked, dismissed, or passed by. In work settings, many people feel that ethics and effort no longer matter — that advancement is about who you know, not how you show up. That realization can be disheartening, especially for those who lead with integrity.

But when we ask “Why me?”, there are several ways to explore that question — without self-blame and without judgment.

    Sometimes it’s worth looking inward:

    • How are we truly showing up?
    • Are we advocating for ourselves?
    • What sets us apart beyond effort alone?

And other times, it’s not about effort at all.

There are moments when paths are blocked for our protection.
A role we desire may come with stress we don’t see yet.
An environment may require compromise that costs us peace.
A relationship — romantic or platonic — may be draining us more than we realize.

The same applies to relationships. Knowing when to hold on — and when to let go — is one of the hardest forms of growth. But sometimes releasing a connection creates space for alignment elsewhere. One area of our lives can quietly block growth in another.

When we ask “Why me?”, we’re often grieving paths that were never meant for our well-being.

    The invitation is to pause.
To look with clarity — not just emotion.
To listen with awareness — not attachment.

    Sometimes the answer isn’t hidden.
We’re just looking through the lens of desire instead of discernment.Remain thankful.
Trust that even the smallest redirection can support transformation.
What feels like a delay may actually be protection.
What feels like loss may be making room for elevation.

  • What Your Favorite Color Reveals About Your Personal Transformation

    “What’s your favorite color?”
Sounds like a simple question — but it can be surprisingly revealing.

Over time, I’ve noticed that our connection to color is more than just preference. It reflects who we are, what we desire, and the emotional energy we are aligned with in different chapters of life.

My favorite color has always been blue. At first, I never questioned why—I just loved every shade of it. But as I grew and evolved, I realized that blue symbolizes what I want most in my life: peace, stability, and harmony. It represents calm waters, clear skies, and emotional balance.

    But it wasn’t always blue.

There were seasons of my life defined by:

    Earth Tones

When I needed grounding, consistency, and something to anchor myself to.
These colors symbolized reliability and the desire to feel secure.

    Pink

When love, softness, connection, and passion were at the center of my world.
This was a time of emotional openness and longing for warmth.

    Blue

Represents a season of alignment, healing, and inner calm.

Watching my color preferences shift taught me something valuable:
We transform in ways we often don’t notice. Sometimes even through the colors we feel drawn to.

Color becomes a quiet language of the soul, expressing emotions we may not have words for.

What About People Who Don’t Have a Favorite Color?

I’ve met many people who say they don’t have a favorite color at all.

To me, that doesn’t mean they’re unsure or disconnected — it may mean they’re:
    * Living in the moment
    *Open to possibilities
*More influenced by mood than by identity
    * In a season of flowing rather than choosing

Not having a favorite color can also reflect a flexible or evolving identity — someone who doesn’t feel defined by one thing and is comfortable shifting, trying, or exploring.

Color as a Mirror of Transformation

Our favorite colors can shift as we grow, heal, or enter new chapters in our lives.
They change as our emotional landscape changes.
They speak for us when we are still figuring out what we feel.

    So now I ask you:

    What’s your favorite color today?
And what might it reveal about the season of life you’re in?

Share below — I’d love to hear your reflections.

  • Grief: The Struggle to Accept Loss

Loss doesn’t always mean the death of a loved one—it can also be the loss of a relationship, community, home, health, or even a version of your past life.

    Different Forms of Loss

    • Loss of a loved one: The deep pain of saying goodbye to someone who has passed.
    • Loss of a relationship: Friendships, marriages, or bonds that dissolve, leaving a void.
    • Loss of a pet: Our pets walk with us through seasons of life, and their passing can be just as heavy as losing a family member.
    • Loss of community: Moving away or watching a familiar place change in ways you aren’t ready for.
    • Loss of home: This could mean losing a family home, or tragedy striking through fire, storm, or other unexpected events.
    • Loss of lifestyle: When life transitions—career shifts, health changes, or personal growth—you may grieve the “old you” and the connections that once felt secure.

Grieving is not wrong—but if we’re not careful, we can get stuck.

    My Story of Grief

In 2010, I lost my baby. He lived less than 30 minutes after birth. For the next 10 years, I carried guilt and sadness that shaped my choices. I “partied” to hide my pain, but joy felt like something I didn’t deserve. Even when I smiled, my thoughts returned to what if and why not me.

Grief held me hostage until I learned that healing didn’t mean forgetting—it meant finding peace while honoring my love for him.

    Witnessing Grief in Others

I know someone who has been grieving their health. At a young age, he became a dialysis patient. For years he resisted acceptance, living as though nothing had changed., which resulted in constant stays at the hospital. Later, grief transformed into quietness—perhaps acceptance, perhaps exhaustion. Watching him reminds me that grief is not always loud; sometimes it is silent.

    Understanding Grief

Your grief will not look like mine, and mine will not look like yours. Grief is not packaged the same way for everyone.

Many people suffer silently, unsure how to name what they feel or how to move forward. Some believe grief is just “something to get over.” But grief is more than pain—it is love and attachment to what once was.

    A Gentle Reminder

    • Be kind to yourself.
    • Lean on your support system or seek therapy.
    • Remember: you are not weak for grieving.
    • Discover tools that help when it feels overwhelming—journaling, meditation, or energy practices.
    • Honor your memories, but also give yourself permission to grow.

Grief is powerful. Left unchecked, it can lead to hopelessness, anger, or disconnection. But when we meet it with compassion, grief can also become a teacher—guiding us toward transformation.

✨ If you are grieving, please know: you are not alone.

  • RELEASE: The Power to Let Go

Today is a great day to release!

What are you letting go of today? Stress, worry, a bad relationship, unhealthy habits? Has it been long overdue?

As we step into the Fall season—a season of transformation—we can take inspiration from nature. The leaves change color and fall, reminding us that letting go is part of growth. Science even explains that as the wind blows, it weakens the leaf’s connection to the branch, and the leaf falls away. Through that release, the tree conserves energy and prepares for renewal.

In the same way, release allows us to grow. Let go of what no longer serves you—the people, thoughts, or habits that weigh you down and prevent you from moving forward. A shift in mindset is essential if we want to level up in life. Releasing is not just about letting go—it’s about finding peace.

Why is this so important? Because when we don’t release, the same patterns repeat: unhealthy relationships, health issues, constant procrastination, arguments, or unachieved goals. Sometimes it’s as simple as holding on to habits we know aren’t helping. Deep down, you already know what it’s time to release.

Be courageous enough to acknowledge it—and let it go.

    Ways to Release

Here are some practices you can try to support your release journey:

    • Journal:
Write down your feelings, thoughts, and what you want to release. Personally, I like to write it down, then take it outside and burn the paper—it’s symbolic and freeing.
    • Spend time in nature:
Go for a walk, sit quietly under the trees, or be near water. Nature has a way of soothing us and helping us breathe more deeply.
    • Move your body:
Dance in your living room, hit the gym, or try yoga. Physical movement helps release built-up energy and leaves you feeling refreshed.
    • Scream it out:
Sometimes nothing works better than letting out a loud scream in a safe space. It’s simple, but it can release so much tension.
    • Break it (safely!):
If you need something physical, look into a local Rage Room. These are designed spaces where you can safely break items as a form of stress relief. If you try this, be sure to wear protective gear like goggles.

These are just a few options I’ve tried—or considered. The key is to find what works for you. Whatever method you choose, let it help you release the old so you can move forward refreshed, open, and ready for something new.

  • The Power of Pause: Reflections on Growth, Silence, and Returning

    Christine T. 7/5/2025

Wow, life has a way of showing up alerting us when it’s time to step back, readjust, and realign. During my time away: I found clarity of my purpose, how to show up for my community, and, most importantly, how to show up for myself. I’ve learned, leveled up, and leaned into the lessons. Isn’t that the point of it all?

The challenges we face—family, relationships, and work—aren’t just obstacles; they’re invitations to grow.

This season brought “A-ha!” moments, accomplished goals, and new beginnings. It also demanded honesty:

    1. Having those deep conversations.
    2. Looking into the mirror
    3. Embracing imperfections
    4.  Weathering the storms of Life.

Peace isn’t found by avoiding the chaos but by moving through it with love, forgiveness, and patience.

Here’s what I know now: Transformation doesn’t rush, It takes time. For me, it took years; For others, months. There’s no “right” timeline. This journey asks for self-trust, compassion, and the courage to relinquish control. The unknown is scary, but it’s also where the magic happens.

    So YES, I’m back!

I want to remind you: Silence isn’t surrender, it’s not weakness or quitting. Silence is sacred—it’s rest, learning, and healing. There will be seasons when you, too, need to pause   Honor that.

🌊 Let’s step into this next chapter together—Open, Grateful, and Ready 🌊

    Give Thanks!

  • Stepping Into My Purpose: Trusting Spirit’s Guidance

    Author Christine T.

I started my journey with a vision of becoming a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), but life had other plans. When that path didn’t work out, I pursued Human Resource Management, believing it was the right direction—but the doors refused to open.

For the longest time, I sat in uncertainty, waiting for clarity. Then, I finally did what I should have done all along—I let Spirit take the wheel.

    From Uncertainty to Divine Guidance

For the past few years, I have allowed Spirit to guide my steps, trusting that my purpose would unfold in ways beyond my imagination.

When the world faced COVID, I embarked on a new journey—Enchanted Waves. Initially, it was a platform where I sold spiritual items, but as time passed, Spirit led me in an entirely different direction. My calling was not in selling products—it was in healing, guiding, and supporting others.

    A Passion for Helping Others

Helping people has always been my passion. I just needed to find the right way to show up for others outside of the traditional roles of a social worker or therapist. It wasn’t that I lacked the desire—I simply had responsibilities that made internships and conventional paths difficult.

Yet, Spirit never let me give up. Instead, I was led to holistic healing, transformational coaching, and energy work, allowing me to help others in a way that feels deeply aligned with my purpose.

Walking in Alignment with My Purpose

    ✨ Per Numerology, I am a Life Path 9.
✨ I am a Virgo, deeply rooted in service and healing.
✨ My Spirit Mother is the Water Spirit—fluid, intuitive, and ever-evolving.

I am here to guide, to heal, to comfort. I have been told countless times that I will heal with my hands—that my gift is to bring peace to others, to listen without judgment, and to uplift those who need it most.

For years, I have been doing exactly that—coaching, motivating, and encouraging family, friends, and those Spirit places on my path. I’ve always shared that big changes aren’t always necessary—sometimes, it’s the small shifts that create the biggest impact.

    Your Journey is Yours Alone

I want you to know—I have been where you are.
I continue to grow, evolve, and face life’s obstacles, just as you do.

💡 Life does not stop. Obstacles come in different forms, but we must release the fear of the unknown.
💡 We cannot control everything. What is meant for us will always find its way.
💡 Courage is the key. We must have the boldness to live for ourselves, not for others.

No one’s story or journey is the same. Do not suppress your dreams or dim your light to keep others comfortable. Allow Spirit, the Universe, or the Divine to lead you to the place you were meant to be.

I know that this moment, this chapter, is just another stepping stone toward my greatness.

    ✨ Let’s step into yours. ✨

  • Challenges of Life: Shifting Your Mindset for Growth

    Author Christine T.

Life is full of challenges, but have you ever wondered why? Why do obstacles seem to appear just when you’re making progress? Why does life sometimes feel so hard?

For many, it can feel like they’re not meant for success, as if life is working against them. Blockages can show up in different ways:

    • Financial struggles – Money seems to disappear as soon as it arrives.
    • Mental roadblocks – Self-doubt and limiting beliefs hold you back.
    • Health issues – Stress, fatigue, or illness seem constant.

But what if I told you that our mindset plays a major role in shaping our reality?

    The Power of Your Beliefs

C.S. Lewis once said: “We are what we believe.”

Let that sink in. If you constantly think:
❌ “Everything goes wrong for me.” → Life will feel like one big struggle.
❌ “I’m always sick.” → Your body will reflect that belief.
❌ “I never have enough money.” → Money will continue to slip away.

Our thoughts are energy—and what we put out into the world, we receive in return. The Law of Attraction teaches us that our dominant thoughts manifest into reality.

So, if you shift your focus and start believing:
✅ “Abundance flows to me effortlessly.”
✅ “I am strong, healthy, and resilient.”
✅ “Challenges are opportunities for growth.”

You change your energy, your actions, and ultimately, your life.

    How to Overcome Life’s Challenges

Life is a journey of lessons, not perfection. No one promised an easy path, but we do have the power to shape our response. Here are a few guiding principles that can help:

    • Build Strong Character – Stay true to your values and integrity.
    • Control Your Emotions – Pause. Breathe. Reflect. Don’t let outside forces dictate your peace.
    • Energy Flows Where Attention Goes – Focus on solutions, not problems.
    •  Embrace Duality – Life has highs and lows, but both bring growth.
    •  Accept Imperfection – Nothing (and no one) is perfect—growth comes from the journey.

Your Challenges Are Preparing You for Greatness

We can either learn and grow from challenges or remain stuck in repetitive cycles. The choice is ours.

Next time life feels overwhelming, shift your perspective:
💡 See obstacles as stepping stones.
    💡 Recognize setbacks as redirections.
💡 Be thankful for challenges—they are shaping you into the person you’re meant to be.

Your journey is yours alone—Embrace it, Own it, and Give Thanks for every step. You are leveling up!

  • Reconnecting with Yourself: The Healing Power of Reiki

    By Christine T. 2/16/2025

Life moves fast. Between responsibilities, daily challenges, and unexpected hurdles, we often carry more stress than we realize. These burdens can manifest in ways we don’t immediately recognize—fatigue, restlessness, poor eating habits, emotional heaviness, or even a lingering sense of disconnection.

Perhaps you feel off balance, but you’re unsure why. You just know that something isn’t quite right.

Effects of Stress on Mind, Body & Spirit

Stress, anxiety, and emotional distress affects our minds along with our entire well-being. Over time, this can lead to:

    • Exhaustion – Feeling sluggish, lacking energy, or experiencing body aches.
    • Foggy Brain – Difficulty focusing, overthinking, or struggling with decision-making.
    • Imbalance – Heightened anxiety, mood swings, or a sense of detachment.
    • Sleepless Nights – Restlessness, trouble falling asleep, or waking up unrefreshed.
    • Low Energy Levels – Feeling uninspired, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself and others.

When left unaddressed, the lack of harmony creates a cycle that becomes harder to break. But the good news is—healing is possible.

It’s Time to Reset & Reconnect

Not feeling like yourself, consider this your invitation to pause. Take a deep breath and ask yourself:

    • When was the last time I felt truly at peace?
    • Am I carrying extra baggage causing undesired stress?
    • What do I need to feel grounded and whole again?

This is where Reiki healing can help.

Reiki: A Pathway to Alignment & Inner Peace

Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful energy healing practice designed to restore balance within the mind, body, and spirit. By channeling universal energy, Reiki helps to:

    • Release stored tension & negative energy
    • Promote deep relaxation & emotional clarity
    • Enhance mental focus & intuition
    • Rebalance energy flow & support healing
    • Ground you in the present moment

This holistic approach to healing works beyond the physical—it reaches the energetic roots of stress, trauma, and emotional blockages, allowing for deep release and renewal.

    • Check On Your People

As this year continues, my heart has been heavy with the loss of loved ones to health challenges, overdose, and domestic violence. These experiences have been a painful reminder of how critical it is to actively care for the people in our lives.

Mental health is a silent struggle in so many of our communities, and it’s often those who seem the strongest who are carrying the heaviest burdens. Pay attention to the quiet ones, the ones who always seem in control, and the ones who are constantly smiling while supporting everyone else.

Please, check in on your people. A simple “How are you, really?” can make all the difference. Remember, silence can be deafening.

    • Practicing What I Preach: A Weekend of Self-Reflection

      Author Christine T. 3/16/25

This past weekend was a true test of practicing what I preach. Friday and Saturday, I felt on edge, irritated by every little thing, and, to be honest, I was snappy with people. Sleep had been non-existent for a while, leaving me feeling restless and antsy.

My novice knowledge of horoscopes, I might have blamed it on full moon energy or planetary alignments shifting my emotions. But the truth is, I had to take a step back and acknowledge something important—it wasn’t the universe; it was me.

      Owning My Reactions

I started my day frustrated, mentally ready to throw the whole day away. I was waiting for something to set me off, allowing my emotions to control me rather than the other way around. But when I finally sat with myself, I had a realization:

➡ My response was controlling me.
➡ I was reacting instead of being mindful.
➡ I was not being gentle with myself.

I had to take a deep breath and remind myself that some situations are simply out of my control. Instead of allowing external frustrations to dictate my mood, I needed to step outside of myself, shift my perspective, and regulate my response.

      Choosing Mindfulness Over Reaction

Once I consciously decided to change my approach, I noticed a difference. I slowed down, focused on my breathing, and took in my environment. I reminded myself that the world does not revolve around me—other people have their own struggles too.

Through this process, I embraced three important lessons:

1️⃣ Be gentle with yourself. Not every day is filled with love and light, and that’s okay. Some days will be tough, and that doesn’t mean you’re failing—it means you’re human.

2️⃣ Check your attitude. Recognize when you’re spiraling into frustration and take a moment to recalibrate.

3️⃣ Control what you can—your response. You may not be able to control everything around you, but you can control how you react. Move with intention, not impulse.

      Final Thoughts

This weekend reminded me that growth is a daily practice. Some days, you’ll feel aligned and at peace; other days, you’ll be frustrated and impatient. But the key is awareness—catching yourself before you spiral, giving yourself grace, and choosing to respond with coolness instead of contempt.

💡 What’s one way you practice emotional self-awareness?

    • Don’t Let Your Past Define You: Riding the Waves of Transformation

      Author Christine T

Don’t let your past define you.” This phrase is both empowering and contradictory. On one hand, our past shapes us—it holds the experiences, lessons, and challenges that brought us to this very moment. On the other hand, if we are not mindful, our past can also restrict us—trapping us in old beliefs, unresolved wounds, and narratives that no longer serve our growth.

The Role of the Past: A Foundation, Not a Limit

Our past is a blueprint, a record of everything we have endured, overcome, and learned. It is the foundation on which we stand, providing strength and wisdom. Without it, we wouldn’t be who we are today. However, the danger lies in allowing our past to dictate who we become rather than simply guiding our growth.

      Reflection:

      • Are you carrying past pain as an identity?
      • Do old beliefs keep you stuck?
      • Are you resisting growth out of fear of the unknown?

These are powerful questions that require self-awareness and courage to answer.

Breaking Free: Transforming the Past into Growth

We can acknowledge the past without living in it. When we sit with ourselves and bravely face our history, we shift from being prisoners of our past to being architects of our future. This requires:

Releasing Limiting Beliefs – Recognizing that just because something was true before doesn’t mean it has to be true now.

Healing Emotional Baggage – Processing old wounds instead of carrying them forward.

Embracing Change – Understanding that growth means stepping into the unknown, even when it feels uncomfortable.

The Power of Presence: Living Beyond the Past

True transformation happens when we take the lessons of the past and use them to elevate our present and shape our future. The past does not define us—how we respond to it does.

      Ask yourself:

      • What lesson from my past can I use to empower my present?
      • What belief am I ready to let go of?
      • How can I honor my past without being bound by it?

The past is not a life sentence—it is a stepping stone. How far do you want to go? That choice is yours.

What’s one belief or habit you’re ready to release from your past?

    • “You’ve Come Along Way, Baby”

      Embracing Growth and Change

      Author Christine T. 2/19/2025

“You’ve come a long way, baby.” This simple yet powerful statement has always resonated with me. It’s a reminder that life is all about evolution. Every challenge, every setback, and every difficult relationship teaches us something. But here’s the question: Are we using those lessons to grow?

      The Purpose of Challenges:
Life’s difficulties often serve as a mirror, reflecting areas where we need growth. Whether it’s a personal relationship, professional dynamic, or even self-limiting beliefs, the key to overcoming negativity is change.

      Example – Navigating Difficult Relationships:
Have you ever found yourself in a frustrating dynamic where communication seems impossible? Maybe it’s a tense workplace relationship, a friendship filled with misunderstandings, or a personal connection that feels like it’s always on edge. Instead of staying stuck, consider this approach:

✅ 1. Confront Without Confrontation – Address the issue with understanding, not blame. Lead with curiosity instead of criticism.

✅ 2. Improve Communication – Ask, How can we do better? Instead of reacting emotionally, focus on solutions.

✅ 3. Check Yourself – Self-awareness is key. Are your own triggers, assumptions, or past wounds affecting how you respond?

      Conclusion:
Growth doesn’t come from comfort—it comes from challenge. The next time you face difficulty, remember: You’ve come a long way, baby. Keep rising, keep evolving, and keep moving forward.
