Check On Your People
As this year continues, my heart has been heavy with the loss of loved ones to health challenges, overdose, and domestic violence. These experiences have been a painful reminder of how critical it is to actively care for the people in our lives.
Mental health is a silent struggle in so many of our communities, and it’s often those who seem the strongest who are carrying the heaviest burdens. Pay attention to the quiet ones, the ones who always seem in control, and the ones who are constantly smiling while supporting everyone else.
Please, check in on your people. A simple “How are you, really?” can make all the difference. Remember, silence can be deafening.

Stepping Into My Purpose: Trusting Spirit’s Guidance

I started my journey with a vision of becoming a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), but life had other plans. When that path didn’t work out, I pursued Human Resource Management, believing it was the right direction—but the doors refused to open.
For the longest time, I sat in uncertainty, waiting for clarity. Then, I finally did what I should have done all along—I let Spirit take the wheel.

From Uncertainty to Divine Guidance
For the past few years, I have allowed Spirit to guide my steps, trusting that my purpose would unfold in ways beyond my imagination.
When the world faced COVID, I embarked on a new journey—Enchanted Waves. Initially, it was a platform where I sold spiritual items, but as time passed, Spirit led me in an entirely different direction. My calling was not in selling products—it was in healing, guiding, and supporting others.
A Passion for Helping Others
Helping people has always been my passion. I just needed to find the right way to show up for others outside of the traditional roles of a social worker or therapist. It wasn’t that I lacked the desire—I simply had responsibilities that made internships and conventional paths difficult.
Yet, Spirit never let me give up. Instead, I was led to holistic healing, transformational coaching, and energy work, allowing me to help others in a way that feels deeply aligned with my purpose.

On one hand, our past shapes us—it holds the experiences, lessons, and challenges that brought us to this very moment. On the other hand, if we are not mindful, our past can also restrict us—trapping us in old beliefs, unresolved wounds, and narratives that no longer serve our growth.
The Role of the Past: A Foundation, Not a Limit
Our past is a blueprint, a record of everything we have endured, overcome, and learned. It is the foundation on which we stand, providing strength and wisdom. Without it, we wouldn’t be who we are today. However, the danger lies in allowing our past to dictate who we become rather than simply guiding our growth.

“You’ve come a long way, baby.” This simple yet powerful statement has always resonated with me. It’s a reminder that life is all about evolution. Every challenge, every setback, and every difficult relationship teaches us something. But here’s the question: Are we using those lessons to grow?

The Purpose of Challenges:
Life’s difficulties often serve as a mirror, reflecting areas where we need growth. Whether it’s a personal relationship, professional dynamic, or even self-limiting beliefs, the key to overcoming negativity is change.Example – Navigating Difficult Relationships:
Have you ever found yourself in a frustrating dynamic where communication seems impossible? Maybe it’s a tense workplace relationship, a friendship filled with misunderstandings, or a personal connection that feels like it’s always on edge. Instead of staying stuck, consider this approach:✅ 1. Confront Without Confrontation – Address the issue with understanding, not blame. Lead with curiosity instead of criticism.
